Job Description

Overview: Team oriented sales position in one of South Central Wisconsin’s largest antique mall offering more than30,000 sq feet of quality pre-1969 antiques and collectibles.

Scope of Position: Assist customers in selecting and purchasing antiques and collectibles from Odana Antiques. In addition, act as a liaison between our 105 plus antique dealers and our customers.

Specific Duties Include:

• Answer customer questions about mall policies and procedures.
• Answer general questions about antiques & collectibles whenever possible.
• Process sales, answer telephones, wrap and bag items.
• Assist customers in viewing items in display cases
• Answer questions from dealers regarding their sales totals
• Lift and move furniture
• Routine housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, straightening merchandise etc
• Other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Retail sales experience highly desirable
• Previous cashiering experience
• Basic computer skills. Word processing desirable
• General interest in and knowledge of antiques or art very helpful
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to work weekends

3 Month probationary period.
