Sales Associate
Overview
Team oriented sales position in one of South Central Wisconsin’s largest antique malls offering 30,000 sq ft of quality pre-1969 antiques and collectibles.
Scope of Position
Assist customers in selecting and purchasing antiques and collectibles. In addition, act as a liaison between our 100 plus antique dealers and our customers.
Specific Duties Include
• Answer customer questions about mall policies and procedures
• Answer general questions about antiques & collectibles
• Process sales, answer telephone, wrap and bag items
• Assist customers in viewing items in display cases
• Answer questions from dealers regarding their sales totals
• Lift and move furniture
• Light housekeeping including vacuuming, dusting, straightening merchandise, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Retail sales experience highly desirable
• Previous cashiering experience
• Basic computer skills, Word processing desirable
• General interest in and knowledge of antiques or art very helpful
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work weekends
Three month probationary period.
